Prior to your appointment please stop all medications as listed below for at least 3 days
–Antihistamines
–Antidepressants
Please do not use moisturisers or creams on your forearms on the day of the visit.
Do NOT stop your asthma medications ( ventolin, preventer inhalers , singulair or oral steroids).
Pls bring all of your medications, photos of any rashes or reactions that you may have experienced before or any previous allergy skin /blood test or imaging results ( X-rays or CT scans).
If you have had any reactions to fresh foods please bring them with you to the clinic as we may be able to skin prick test these.
How to make an appointment
You need a referral from your doctor before you can make an appointment with Dr Meera. You can email, fax or post your referral.
GP referrals are valid for 12 months and other specialist referrals are valid for 3 months.
To make an appointment, please contact us Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9.00am to 3.00pm (except public holidays).
Alternatively, you can email your appointment request and we will respond to you within 48 hours.
Fees & Payments
All fees are payable on the appointment day. We accept VISA, Mastercard, EFTPOS and cash. Following payment of your account, you will most likely be eligible for a rebate from Medicare.
This is a private practice and as such we do not bulk bill. If you have any queries regarding the fees please contact us. Accounts that are not settled on the day will attract an additional administration fee.
Cancellations
You will receive an SMS to confirm your appointment. Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you are not able to attend your appointment, so that it can be offered to another patient.
If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not attend your scheduled appointment, a $80 cancellation fee will apply. This fee is not refunded by Medicare.
